Why should I connect Apps to Credify?

There are several reasons why you would want to connect other apps to Credify.

Connecting apps like Plaid to Credify enables all your financial information to be sent to Credify, accurately, in seconds.

This saves you a lot of time and provides an up-to-date snapshot of your current financial position from your bank, credit card companies, 401K provider, investment portfolio and other sources without you having to do anything else.

We also use data sources like Plaid and others, only with your permission, to verify your income and employment, so that you automatically meet the "Know Your Client" and "Anti Money Laundering" requirements necessary for applying for a mortgage, with very little effort on your part.

This automated data gathering makes your application much stronger and gives lenders all the information they need to accurately make mortgage offers and process your application quickly.

Permissions we need

We need your permission to get data from other sources like Credit Reference Agencies like Equifax and Experian, as well as property data providers.

This saves you a lot of time, reduces your need to provide a lot of documents and speeds up the underwriting and completion process for lenders.

Will Credify employees see my data?

In most cases, no Credify employee will look at your application data. Credify is legally required to look at applications that have been flagged as suspicious. In the event that an application is flagged as suspicious, a member of our review team will look at your application in full.

How secure is my data?

Your data is secured in transit and at rest with industry-standard encryption. It will not be sold to third parties but will be used as the basis of lending decisions.
